Trevor Wilson

Trevor Wilson is an assistant professor of Russian at Virginia Tech. His research is on Russo-Soviet philosophy from a transnational and global perspective. His work has been published or is forthcoming in Slavic Review, Slavic and East European Journal, and Radical Philosophy, as well as in various edited volumes. He is currently finishing his first book-length manuscript, The Relative Absolute: Alexandre Kojève and Russian Philosophy, and he is the editor of a forthcoming special issue on the topic for Studies in East European Thought. He is also finishing two translation projects: a collection of previously unpublished lectures by Kojève, entitled Lectures on Dialectics (1962-1967), as well as On Idols and Ideals by Soviet philosopher Eval'd Ilienkov. His next project is a history of the discipline of culturology in the Soviet Union.
