Martín Baña

Martín Baña is specialist in Russian History. He has a PhD in History from the
University of Buenos Aires (2014). His research topics are linked to the political
history of music and the links between politics, thought and culture in the Russia of
the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He is currently a CONICET researcher,
Academic Coordinator of the Center for the Study of Slavic and Chinese Worlds
(CEMECH), and Associate Professor in the field of Russian History of the BA in
History of the School of Humanities of UNSAM. He is also Associate Professor in
charge of the Chair of Russian History at the University of Buenos Aires. He is the
author of four books (two in collaboration) and more than twenty articles published in
journals of Russia, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil. Usually also collaborate in different
media with interventions about Russia present.
