John Milbank is Professor Emeritus of Religion, Politics and Ethics at the University of Nottingham. He previously taught at the universities of Lancaster, Cambridge and Virginia. The author of several books, including *Theology and Social Theory*, he has a strong interest in the Russian sophiological tradition.
