Dmitry Biriukov

Dmitry Biriukov is a scholar specializing in Byzantine theology and Eastern Christian thought, including modern Russian theology. He is a research fellow at Ruhr University Bochum and also at the Faculty of Theology, Fribourg University, Switzerland. He earned three doctorates and has held numerous fellowships at European universities. He served as a research fellow at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow and as a professor at the Institute for the History of Christian Thought, Russian Christian Academy for the Humanities in St. Petersburg.
