Dominic Rubin

Until 2022 Dominic Rubin taught religion and philosophy at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow. He is the author of Holy Russia, Sacred Israel (ASP 2010), The Life and Thought of Lev Karsavin (Brill 2012), and Russia’s Muslim Heartlands (Hurst 2018). His work focuses on the political, theological and philosophical dimensions of Eastern Orthodoxy, Judaism and Islam in the Russian, Central Asian and Eastern European contexts, and he teaches and speaks on these themes in Europe and the U.S.
