Marina Pantina is a PhD candidate in French and Russian literature at Sorbonne University. Her dissertation research focuses on the reception of Joseph de Maistre in Russia during the 19th and early 20th centuries from a philological perspective and within the field of the history of ideas. She is interested in 19th century Russian literature, the history of ideas, Russian conservatism, Franco-Russian relations in diplomacy and politics, cultural transfer, 'White Russian' emigration, writing of exile, and interdisciplinary studies involving philosophy and literature.
